The creation of spaces fundamentally relies on the elementary approach of plane composition. By leveraging the three-dimensional properties of length, width, and height, planes serve as the basic framework for forming spaces and volumes. In the built environment, common examples of planes include walls, screens, and fences.

This design concept embraces the fundamental approach to space-making by utilizing the simplest strokes and gestures of planes. Through this method, the design explores the dynamic interaction between spaces and planes, emphasizing their inherent simplicity and elegance.
Furthermore, the concept delves into the four-dimensional and three-spatial relationships of spaces and planes. It highlights three key principles: space within a space, space overlapping space, and space adjoining space.
